It had a good location next to the central square through a path, centre of Portee, and local bars, restaurants and the harbour. And it's a 10-15 minute walking distance from Cuchullin Restaurant, ate there once or twice.

The bed was small here.

The shower in the Beautiful Family Room was really good.

The only downside was the coffee machine setup with unnecessary waste with its packaging instead of using a simple cafetiere.

The host were pretty good, provided thoughtful tips for dinner and local attractions while engaging us in enjoyable conversations. The Beautiful Family Room was not only beautifully decorated but also equipped with all the conveniences, including an amazing level shower that was a welcome change from typical hotel setups.

Staying at Stonefield House was a pleasure. The Beautiful Family Room reminded me of a cozy home with beautiful decorations and thoughtful touches. The host was attentive and provided us with a tailored itinerary, made exploring Portree so much easier. Breakfast was a highlight, offering delicious options including homemade bread. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the center of town with a lovely forest trail nearby. One downside was the coffee machine setup. It felt a bit excessive and created unnecessary waste. The noise from the breakfast area could be distracting at times. Still, those minor inconveniences didn't overshadow the lovely experience we had.
